HuffPost tried with all its might to run an anti-Trump poll, but ended up belly-flopping spectacularly.
In a Twitter poll, the left-wing outlet asked users to rate President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech, offering four differing options to choose from. Of course, only one choice was positive, the other three were not.
The one positive option, though, racked up 77% of all votes:

The Twitter poll was actually pretty representative of what the American people overwhelmingly thought of Trump’s SOTU address. CBS polling found 75% of Americans approving of the speech, scoring particularly high with Independents and Republicans.

Adding insult to HuffPost’s self-inflicted injury, Trump is rising in general popularity, too. Monmouth Polling found Trump to have increased in popularity dramatically over the course of January, hitting 45% approval.
